BUILDING BRIDGES WEEK - Measuring Human Rights for Investors

The ‘S’ in ESG covers many aspects, including human rights. It faces greater measurement challenges than the ‘E’ in ESG. Data on companies’ social performance is typically in short supply and not very robust. In this panel, we will discuss how banks currently address these challenges to advance human rights.

This event will take place durint the 3rd edition of Building Bridges that will feature more thant 65 discussions, workshops, roundtables, and presentations co-hosted by 100 entities from the private sector, academia, government, and international organizations from October 3 to 6 in Geneva.

Speakers

Christian Leitz is Head Corporate Responsibility (CR) at UBS. CR coordinates the bank’s sustainability reporting and manages the relations with certain stakeholder groups. Christian Leitz co-chairs the Thun Group of Banks.

Raul Manjarin is Vice President Sustainability Risk at Credit Suisse. He was previously Business Development Manager at RepRisk AG, and Managing Partner at ECOFACT AG.

Suzanne Spears is the Founding Partner of Paxus LLP, a law and strategy firm specialising in business and human rights. She was previously a partner at Allen & Overy LLP.
