UN Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum - Asia-Pacific

Business schools around the world are facing growing demands to introduce responsible management and human rights in their curriculum. Even though some teachers have already started introducing these issues in their teaching, few business schools have had a comprehensive approach to fully integrate business and human rights issues within their programs. The side session will take stock of existing initiatives, explore how other stakeholders can support business schools in their effort to introduce responsible management and human rights and discuss possible ways forward.

The side-event “Reimagining Business School Education with Responsible Management and Human Rights”, organized by the Global Business School Network, discusses existing practices within business schools, explores inter-regional partnerships - notably between Asia, Europe and America - and identifies how other stakeholders such as employers, regional and international organizations can support the effort to integrate responsible management and human rights in business school education. Prof. Dorothée Baumann-Pauly takes part in this discussion.
