Launch of a Business and Human Rights Clinic at GSEM

The Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights (GCBHR) is excited to announce the launch of the world’s first business and human rights clinic at a business school. Starting from September 2021, students enrolled in the Clinic will work alongside the GCBHR team to address a concrete human rights challenge that a co-funding company is currently facing.

The GCBHR is grateful for the commitments of Trafigura and Lafarge-Holcim, two Swiss companies that agreed to co-sponsor the clinic following a call for contributions published in October 2020.

We are welcoming other companies wishing to co-fund the clinic to ensure its continuance beyond 2021. Please reach out to us by 1 May 2021 if your company is interested in supporting this educational initiative and showing its commitment to respecting human rights in business.

The Clinic will be part of the new Master of Science in Responsible Management program at the Geneva School for Economics and Management at the University of Geneva. Students selected for the Clinic will be able to earn 6 academic credit points.
